The words of the 40th chapter of Isaiah, a prophecy of comfort and renewal, are repeated continuously. Verses 1-30 are repeated 13 times in the bold sky, soaring cliffs, and tree-covered valley. "...Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: and the glory of the L-rd shall be revealed...." Verse 31, written 208 times (divisible by 13), fills the eagle with glorious strength from wing tip to wing tip. "...but they that wait upon the L-rd shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint." The outstretched wings serve as a canopy enveloping the Jewish people in love and strength. G-d will gather "the lamb with His arm, and carry them in His bosom..." "Behold, the L-rd G-d will come with might, and his arm shall rule for him."
